Leasing the Mini Clubman
The New Mini Clubman is set for launch any day now. Like the regular Mini, the new Clubman has spades of character but with the added bonus of extra interior space. The Mini Clubman has an estate-car body which gives drivers the best of both worlds: Space AND Style. All achieved without compromising the traditional Mini character or image.
Although BMW Mini have not produced an official press release on the new Mini Clubman (at the time of writing), the following information can be gleaned from their website*:
• The Clubman's body has been extended by 9.45-inches, while its wheelbase has grown by 3.15-inches.
• Rear seat passengers enjoy that extra 3.15-inches in legroom.
• Storage space is 9.1 cubic feet with the rear seats in the upright position or 32.6 cubic feet with seats folded flat.
• The special ‘Club Door’ on the passenger side is opened via a handle within the car.
• Two split doors in the back allow access to the bootspace.
• There will be a choice of 14 exterior colours, with 4 interior colour schemes available.
• Power in the Cooper S Clubman comes courtesy of the twin-scroll turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four which produces 175 HP.
• The standard Mini Clubman comes with a 1.6-liter four producing 120 HP whilst the Cooper D Clubman, gets power from a 1.6-liter diesel.

The new Mini Clubman Estate is set for launch in December, with prices expected to start from £13,500.
